Metro Bank Holdings PLC Shares Annual General Meeting Results

On November 19, 2024, Metro Bank Holdings PLC announced the results of its Annual General Meeting (AGM), initially held on May 21, 2024. Shareholders did not support the resolutions concerning the authority and additional authority to disapply pre-emption rights. In response, the Board has engaged with shareholders who opposed these resolutions to understand their concerns.

The Board plans to incorporate these shareholder perspectives when preparing future resolutions and will continue its dialogue with stakeholders. An update will be included in Metro Bank's 2024 annual report, in line with the UK Corporate Governance Code.
