Molten Ventures Plc strengthens its position in Seedcamp Fund III

Molten Ventures Plc (LSE: GROW, Euronext Dublin: GRW), a leading venture capital company specializing in investing in and developing high-growth technology companies, announces the acquisition of a secondary position in Seedcamp Fund III. Molten has acquired approximately 19% of the fund for 8.5 million euros. This vintage 2016 fund includes a portfolio of disruptive technology companies with high growth, with over 80% of the value concentrated in six mature and proven assets in attractive market segments: Revolut, Pleo, Grover, WeFox, Thriva, and Curve.

This acquisition aligns with Molten Ventures' strategy of accessing exceptional secondary investments at attractive valuations. The company has already acquired secondary positions in Seedcamp funds I and II, as well as in Earlybird funds. Molten's secondary strategy leverages its venture capital market network to provide liquidity to end-of-life funds, focusing on acquiring high-quality asset portfolios with short-term visibility on realization opportunities. To date, this strategy has generated returns of 2.5 times the invested capital.
