Mutares Responds to Gotham City Research Report
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has issued a statement addressing the recent report by Gotham City Research, which primarily aims to profit from short positions by portraying Mutares negatively. According to Mutares, the report misrepresents their strategy and business transactions to distort facts.
The company insists that since 2020, it has committed to a global growth strategy, particularly in the automotive and mobility sectors. Successful exits from 2022-2024, generating over EUR 200 million in proceeds, confirm this strategy.
Mutares has also adjusted its dividend strategy, raising the minimum dividend to EUR 2.00 per share. The management remains confident in meeting financial guidance for the current year and beyond.
