Mutares to Acquire Cikautxo Rubber & Plastic Components (Kunshan) Co., Ltd.
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has signed an agreement to acquire Cikautxo Rubber & Plastic Components (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. from CIKAUTXO S.COOP. This marks the sixth acquisition for Mutares in 2024 and aims to strengthen the SFC Group, part of Amaneos.
Based in Kunshan, China, Cikautxo China specializes in producing rubber and plastic components for the automotive and household appliance industries, generating revenues of approximately EUR 13 million in 2023. Key clients include Daimler, Ford, Geely, and Volvo.
The acquisition will bolster SFC Group's manufacturing capabilities in Asia and support market expansion. SFC Group focuses on fluid transfer systems and sealing solutions for the automotive sector. The deal follows the recent opening of Mutares' Shanghai office, highlighting the strategic importance of the Chinese market for the company.
