Mutares to Sell MobiLitas to Savina for Single-Digit Million Euros

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has signed an agreement to sell MobiLitas to Savina for a purchase price in the single-digit million range. This marks the fifth exit for Mutares in 2024. The deal follows the successful repositioning of MobiLitas.

Based in Serbia, MobiLitas provides public, regional, and international transport services. The company operates in Belgrade and Požarevac, employing around 500 people. In 2023, it generated revenues of approximately EUR 26 million and transported more than 32 million passengers.

After acquiring MobiLitas in May 2023, Mutares repositioned it as a recognized market player. The company is now focusing on strengthening operations in Požarevac and diversifying its strategy towards sustainability and mobility concepts.

Johannes Laumann, CIO of Mutares, expressed confidence in Savina's capability to continue developing MobiLitas under its leadership. Savina's experience in public transport services is expected to guide the company towards continued success.
