Nexa Resources Announces Board and Management Changes

Nexa Resources S.A. ("Nexa" or the "Company") has announced significant changes to its Board of Directors and senior leadership team. Mr. João Schmidt has stepped down from the Board, effective October 1, 2024.

Joining the Board is Mr. Flavio Aidar, who holds a degree in Business Administration and has over seven years of experience in various sectors. Mr. Aidar is currently a Managing Director of Votorantim S.A. and has held prominent leadership roles, including CEO of InterCement.

Mr. Marcio Godoy, Senior Vice President of Technical Services and Projects, will also leave the company, effective October 15, 2024. His responsibilities will be reassigned to other management roles.

Jaime Ardila, Chairman of the Board, thanked Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Godoy for their contributions and welcomed Mr. Aidar, highlighting his extensive experience as beneficial for the company's future growth and shareholder value.
