Nexera Energy Provides Update on Delayed Annual Filings and MCTO
Nexera Energy Inc. (TSX Venture: NGY, OTC PINK: EMBYF) issued a bi-weekly default status report on September 16, 2024. The report follows a previous announcement on July 16, 2024, regarding the delayed filing of its annual financial statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024.
The Alberta Securities Commission has imposed a management cease trade order (MCTO) on Nexera's CEO and CFO, restricting them from trading the company's securities until the annual filings are completed. This MCTO does not impact shareholders who are not insiders.
Nexera's board and management are working to meet filing obligations and now aim to file the documents by September 27, 2024. The company continues to adhere to National Policy 12-203 by issuing bi-weekly updates and expects to release the next report in two weeks.
