Ningbo Celebrates Multicultural Growth with Video Series Launch

The 9th Zhejiang Book Fair and the 2024 Maritime Silk Road Culture and Tourism Expo commenced in Ningbo on October 25. Among the key highlights was the launch of the "People in Ningbo" video series by the Ningbo Municipal People's Government. This initiative narrates the stories of residents contributing to the city's cultural and economic landscape.

One featured individual, Rajesh, has resided in Ningbo for over 14 years, opening two Indian restaurants. He has experienced the city's transition from tradition to modernity, valuing its multicultural environment which fosters international connections.

Ningbo is ranked among China's top ten cities for attracting foreign talents, contributing to a vibrant cultural exchange. Rajesh emphasizes that Ningbo’s inclusiveness and rich culinary scene not only enrich the city's culture but also boost local economic growth.
