Nordex Group Reports Strong Order Intake in Q1 2024
The Nordex Group has announced an order intake of 338 turbines totaling 2,086 megawatts (MW) in the first quarter of 2024. This figure represents a significant increase from the 1,021 MW recorded in the same period last year. The average sales price per megawatt was EUR 0.85 million, slightly lower than the EUR 0.90 million reported in the first quarter of 2023.
Orders were received from eleven countries, with Germany, South Africa, and Lithuania being the largest markets. José Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group, expressed satisfaction with the performance, highlighting the diversified regional demand for their wind turbines.
