Nordex Group Secures 40 MW Wind Power Order from ALTUS in Germany
Hamburg, 3 April 2025. Nordex Group announced a significant order from Altus renewables GmbH for 39.9 MW of wind power capacity at the Seewald wind farm in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. This project includes the installation of eight Delta4000 series turbines, with one N133/4800 turbine and seven N149/5.X turbines. Set to start in spring 2026, these turbines will reach a hub height of 164 meters.
This order marks a forward step in wind energy expansion in the region, known for slow development in recent years, and includes a 20-year premium service agreement. Nordex's Director Sales Region Central, Felipe Villalon Waldburg-Zeil, highlighted the project's role in enhancing sustainable and independent power supply in the area.
Nordex maintains a robust presence globally, having installed around 57 GW of wind capacity in over 40 countries. Their focus on high-performance onshore turbines meets market demands in regions with space and grid constraints.
