Norwest Marine Expands Portfolio With Acquisition of Connors & O’Brien Marina

PAWCATUCK, CT – Norwest Marine has announced the acquisition of Connors & O'Brien Marina, adding a third facility to its portfolio. This acquisition includes Norwest Marine in Pawcatuck, Connecticut, and Shelter Cove Marina in Charlestown, Rhode Island.

Situated on the Pawcatuck River, Norwest Marine is now the largest full-service marina on the river. Together with Connors & O'Brien Marina, the company now offers over 200 boat slips and winter storage for over 500 boats.

Norwest Marine's strategic initiative aims to expand and diversify its coastal marina portfolio. The proximity of Connors & O'Brien Marina to Norwest Marine—just steps away—was a key factor in the acquisition. This accessibility is expected to enhance the boating experience in the region.
