Optex Systems Secures $6.5 Million Contract for Periscopes

Optex Systems Holdings, Inc., a prominent manufacturer of precision optical systems, announced a three-year IDIQ contract award with DLA Land and Marine. This contract, valued at a maximum of $6.5 million, includes options for two additional years. These laser-protected periscopes will aid domestic armored vehicle manufacturers by providing enhanced situational awareness and protection against laser threats.

Danny Schoening, CEO of Optex, emphasized the company's longstanding relationship with the U.S. Government, highlighting their commitment to quality and reliability. This order boosts Optex's backlog to over $42 million, reinforcing its steady presence in military optical systems manufacturing.
