Organto Announces Failure-to-File Cease Trade Order
Organto Foods Inc. (TSXV:OGO)(OTC PINK:OGOFF) announced that the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) has issued a failure-to-file cease trade order (FFCTO) against the Company. This order prohibits trading in or purchasing of the Company's securities in Canada.
The FFCTO was issued due to delays in filing the Company's annual audited financial statements and interim financial statements for the periods ended December 31, 2023, and March 31, 2024, respectively. The required filings were due by April 29, 2024, and May 30, 2024.
The previous management cease trade order has been replaced by the FFCTO. Organto is working with its auditors to complete the required filings as soon as possible. The Company expects to announce its first-quarter 2024 financial results and complete the interim filings by early August.
Organto is not currently subject to any insolvency proceedings. There is no additional undisclosed material information about the Company's affairs.
