PAL Next AG: Business Development on Track in H1 2024
Munich, 25 September 2024. PAL Next AG has reported its business development results for the first half of 2024, confirming the company’s adherence to its strategic plan. Despite a significant revenue drop, the group's production activities are in alignment with their forecasts.
Storybook Studios, a subsidiary, launched the AI-produced animation series SPACE VETS, receiving professional commendations. PANTALEON Films progressed with several projects, including "THE TIGER" in post-production and the completion of "THE LIFE OF WISHES".
Revenue for H1 2024 was EUR 1.2 million, significantly lower than H1 2023's EUR 21.2 million, due to deferred revenue recognition. EBIT saw a corresponding decrease to EUR -2.3 million.
The management reaffirmed its 2024 forecast of EUR 3-4.5 million in revenue and expects a return to 2022 revenue levels in 2025
