Partial Sale of Sport1 GmbH by Sport1 Medien AG
Sport1 Medien AG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Highlight Communications AG, has reached a comprehensive cooperation agreement with ACUNMEDYA, an international media and entertainment group based in Istanbul. This agreement includes the sale of 50% of Sport1 GmbH shares for an amount of 30 million euros.
ACUNMEDYA is committed to producing internationally recognized entertainment and sports entertainment programs for Sport1. Highlight Communications AG will continue to fully consolidate Sport1 GmbH for accounting purposes.
The completion of the transaction is subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory and antitrust approvals.
