Petrofac Extends Forbearance Agreement
Petrofac Limited announced an extension of its forbearance agreement concerning the non-payment of interest on its senior secured notes. The deadline has been moved from 20 September to 18 October 2024. This measure ensures the noteholders will not take action regarding the missed payment until at least 18 October, granting the company additional time to progress its financial restructuring.
This decision was reached with an ad hoc group of noteholders, representing about 47% of the outstanding senior secured notes, along with other acceding noteholders. Petrofac will make further announcements as needed.
