Photonis Launches Advanced Solutions for Photon Detection and Imaging

Photonis, a renowned brand of Exosens, has introduced two innovations, Cricket™ Pro and PhotonPix™, at SPIE Photonics West 2025 in San Francisco. These solutions are designed to enhance single photon detection and imaging, crucial for fields like biomedical imaging, quantum science, and high-energy physics.

The Cricket™ Pro is an image intensifier adapter that offers high-speed precision in low-light environments. Compatible with F-Mount cameras, it features a 25 mm detection area and operates at speeds up to 3 nanoseconds. These attributes set a new standard for scientific imaging by ensuring rapid and reliable results.

PhotonPix™, on the other hand, is a module for single-photon detection. It boasts a low dark count rate and supports count rates over 200 MHz in Burst mode. Additionally, its timing resolution under 15 ps enhances precision.
