PNE AG Reports Successful Fiscal Year 2023, Exceeding Targets and Continuing Growth

PNE AG, a leading clean energy solutions provider, announced its successful performance for the fiscal year 2023, achieving and surpassing its strategic and financial targets. The company recorded a total output of €267.8 million, an increase from the previous year's €243.3 million. EBITDA rose to €39.9 million, within the upper guidance range of €30 to 40 million, and the company continued its expansion in developing an extensive pipeline of clean energy projects.

CEO Markus Lesser highlighted the successful implementation of the 'Scale up 1.0' strategy, which significantly broadened the company's technology and geographic scope. PNE AG significantly exceeded its goal of having 500 MW in operation or under construction by the end of 2023. The company's project pipeline experienced record growth, reaching a total rated output of 19,101 MW/MWp.

The expansion of services, especially in wind turbine operations and management, has also seen notable progress, with managed wind farms reaching over 2,900 MW. The announcement of a dividend proposal for the fiscal year 2023 further underpins PNE’s strong fiscal health and confidence in ongoing growth.

Looking forward, PNE AG has set ambitious goals under the 'Scale up 2.0' strategy, aiming to expand its generation portfolio of wind farms and PV plants. The company remains optimistic about its future, underlined by a focused expansion into new services, technologies, and markets. With a steady start to the 2024 financial year, PNE is poised to continue on its growth trajectory, expecting an EBITDA of €40 to 50 million.
