Power One Completes Drilling on Pecors Project
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 11, 2024 / Power One Resources Corp. (TSX-V:PWRO) announced the completion of drilling at its Pecors Project in Eliott Lake, Ontario. Three diamond drill holes, totaling 1,300 meters, have been completed. Assays for all drill holes are pending.
"This inaugural drill campaign marks an exciting milestone," said CEO Karim Rayani. The Pecors Property features a 5.7 km by 4.2 km magnetic system with potential for Ni-Cu-PGM mineralization and a significant historical uranium resource.
Drill holes PO-24-01 and PO-24-02 targeted a VTEM electromagnetic conductor axis, aiming to uncover uranium mineralization. PO-24-03 targeted the Pecors magnetic anomaly, following up on earlier results showing 0.33 g/t Pt+Pd+Au, 0.11% Cu, and 0.04% Ni over 12 meters.
Historically, the Pecors Property has shown uranium mineralization. Drillings in 2007 reported values of 4.3 lbs/t (0.194% U3O8) over 4m and 5.9 lbs/t (0.246% U3O8) over 0.94m. Pecors also hosts PGM-Ni-Cu mineralization linked to a 18 km by 4 km magnetic anomaly.
