PWO AG Continues Growth with New Site in Serbia
PWO AG has laid the foundation stone for a new engineering and production site in Čačak, Serbia. This expansion reaffirms the company's strategic position in the European market. The first series production from this facility is scheduled for the end of 2025, with several orders already secured.
The ceremony was attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, the German Ambassador to Serbia Ms. Konrad, and the Mayor of Čačak, Milun Todorović. Carlo Lazzarini, CEO of PWO Group, emphasized the strategic importance of the Serbian location, highlighting the increasing interest from customers in Eastern Europe.
This new site is expected to create over 500 jobs. PWO AG plans to engage with local schools and businesses to further integrate into the community. Additionally, the facility will operate with a focus on minimizing its carbon footprint.
