Pyrum Innovations AG Secures Building Permit for Greek Plant

Pyrum Innovations AG, in partnership with Thermo Lysi SA, has obtained the necessary building permit for a new recycling plant in Greece. The facility will process end-of-life tyres using the pyrolysis process. The plant, located in the Livanates region, will handle approximately 20,000 tonnes of tyres annually, significantly enhancing Greece's tyre recycling capacity.

The project, expected to commence groundbreaking by summer 2025, marks Pyrum Innovations AG's first construction venture outside its national borders. The company plans to acquire a 15% equity stake in the project, reinforcing its commitment to expanding sustainable recycling technologies globally. Key components with long delivery times should be ordered by the second quarter of 2025, ensuring a smooth construction phase.
