René van Vlerken to Succeed Simone Huis in ‘t Veld as CEO of Euronext Amsterdam
Euronext announces the nomination of René van Vlerken as CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, effective 1 September 2024. René van Vlerken will replace Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, who has resigned to pursue new projects after five years in the role.
Currently Head of Listing for the Netherlands, Germany, and Central and Eastern Europe at Euronext, van Vlerken joined the company in 2017. He brings over two decades of experience from his previous roles at ABN AMRO and Rabobank.
Stéphane Boujnah, CEO and Chairman of the Managing Board of Euronext N.V., expressed his confidence in van Vlerken’s extensive experience and understanding of market dynamics. Boujnah also thanked Huis in ‘t Veld for her significant contributions and leadership.
