Saint-Gobain Announces Share Buyback Transactions from May 13 to May 20, 2024
Saint-Gobain reported its recent share buyback activities that took place between May 13 and May 20, 2024. These transactions align with Article 5 §2 of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 concerning market abuse.
Approved by the Annual General Meeting on June 8, 2023, the buyback program saw a total purchase of 1,019,951 shares, with an average price of €81.374 per share. The total expenditure for these buybacks amounted to €82,997,893.
On May 13, 2024, 165,290 shares were bought at an average price of €80.865 per share, costing €13,366,209. The following day, 170,489 shares were acquired at €81.011 per share, amounting to €13,811,484.
Transactions continued with higher volumes mid-week. On May 15, 189,825 shares were bought at €81.864 each, totaling €15,539,853. On May 16, 212,613 shares were purchased at €81.888 per share, costing €17,410,368.
On May 17, the company bought 231,488 shares at €81.063 per share for €18,765,112. Lastly, on May 20, 50,246 shares were acquired at €81.695 per share, costing €4,104,867.
