Silver Tiger Metals Inc. Reports Progress in Pre-Feasibility Mineral Resource Drilling

Silver Tiger Metals Inc. announced significant advances in its Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) drilling program for the Stockwork gold deposit at the El Tigre Project in Sonora, Mexico. With 23,000 meters drilled out of a planned 25,000 meters, the company is focused on expanding and upgrading its mineral resource estimates. The program aims to complete metallurgical and geotechnical studies, transitioning from exploration to development, scheduled for publication in the second half of 2024.

Recent drilling results highlight potential expansions in three key areas of the deposit: the footwall, hanging wall, and a bottom area known as the ‘keel’. The assay results from the initial 55 drill holes have confirmed and expanded the near-surface gold presence, with significant mentions of the developing Footwall Zone. This zone shows promising continuity and expanding mineralization, critical for the project's development.

Highlighted drill results include several intersections that have shown grades of up to 6.7 g/t gold equivalent over 2 meters at depth in the Keel Zone, reflecting a mix of gold and high silver content. This information aligns with the project’s goals to convert sections of the deposit from indicated to measured resource categories and supports ongoing PFS-level metallurgical and geotechnical studies.

The project’s exploration data reinforces Silver Tiger’s strategy to increase the mined resource by 10 to 15% through focusing on identified zones and converting key parts of the mineral resource from inferred to indicated, pivotal for the planned expansion and life of mine.
