SMT Scharf AG Requests Change of Stock Ticker Symbol

Hamm, October 01, 2024 – SMT Scharf AG, a global provider of transport solutions and logistics systems for underground mining, announced its request to change its stock ticker symbol. Starting October 02, 2024, SMT Scharf AG shares will be traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol 'S188', replacing the previous symbol 'S4AA'.

SMT Scharf AG develops, manufactures, and services transportation equipment for underground mining and tunnel construction. The company’s main products include railway systems primarily used in hard coal, gold, and platinum mines. They also provide chairlifts, and since 2018, their portfolio has included diesel and electric vehicles for mining and tunnelling.
