SouthGobi Announces Date of Special Meeting and Record Date

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / July 10, 2024 / SouthGobi Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:SGQ)(HK:1878) has announced a special meeting of shareholders. The meeting will be held in Vancouver on August 28, 2024, to seek approval for the March 2024 Deferral Agreement, April 2024 Deferral Agreement, and Convertible Debenture Amendment.

The record date for shareholders eligible to attend and vote is set for July 24, 2024. Those listed on the register at the close of business on this date will be eligible to participate in the special meeting.

A management proxy circular detailing the agreements, along with recommendations from the Independent Board and Financial Advisor, will be available on the Company's and relevant stock exchange websites by August 6, 2024.
