SouthGobi Resources Ltd. Announces Changes to Upcoming Shareholder Meetings
SouthGobi Resources Ltd. has revealed updates regarding its shareholder meetings. The annual general meeting (AGM) is scheduled for June 27, 2024, in Vancouver, and notifications will be sent to shareholders on May 28, 2024. The agenda and other details will be included in the notice.
The company has decided not to seek approval for the March and April 2024 Deferral Agreements during the AGM due to the need for more time to finalize the management proxy circular. Instead, these matters along with the Convertible Debenture Amendment will be addressed at a special meeting planned before August 30, 2024. Resolutions regarding these agreements and the amendment will be proposed for shareholder approval at this special meeting.
A management proxy circular is proposed to be published on the SouthGobi website, SEDAR+ and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by or before August 30, 2024. This document will provide comprehensive details concerning the agreements and amendment, including recommendations from the Independent Financial Adviser and the notice of the Special Meeting.
