Springer Nature Sets Price Range for its IPO
Springer Nature AG & Co. KGaA has announced a price range of €21.00 to €23.50 per share for its upcoming initial public offering (IPO). This range suggests a total market capitalization between €4.2 billion and €4.7 billion. The IPO aims to generate €200 million in gross proceeds to reduce company debt and optimize financing.
The offer period will commence on 24 September 2024 and end on 1 October 2024, with the first day of trading planned for 4 October 2024. The offering will include up to 17,857,144 shares from BC Partners, including a potential Greenshoe Option, resulting in a free float ranging from 11.7% to 13.5%.
The IPO is pending approval from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). The company plans to publish its prospectus detailing the IPO terms and conditions today. The final offer price and number of shares will be determined on the last day of the offer period.
