On April 1, 2024, Stabilus SE, a leading global provider of motion control solutions, officially announced that its acquisition of DESTACO, previously agreed upon in October 2023, has been finalized as of March 31, 2024. This significant step meets all closing requirements, including obtaining necessary regulatory approvals, enabling the consolidation of DESTACO under Stabilus SE to commence immediately.

CEO Michael Büchsner expressed enthusiasm about incorporating DESTACO into the Stabilus family, highlighting the acquisition's importance in expanding Stabilus’s industrial automation offerings. According to Büchsner, by joining forces with DESTACO, Stabilus aims to solidify its position as a leading company in the motion control sector. CFO Stefan Bauerreis also emphasized the acquisition's strategic significance, aligning with Stabilus's STAR 2030 strategy to balance its industrial and automotive business sectors.
