Sunrise commits to electrifying its entire corporate vehicle fleet

Sunrise UPC GmbH today announced its decision to electrify its entire corporate vehicle fleet to reduce emissions. The company's 255 cars should be electric by the end of 2024. As for the 65 delivery vans, they will be replaced by electric models by 2028.

The vehicles will be supplied by AMAG, a Swiss family business. This initiative is part of the Sunrise IMPACTS strategy, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Sunrise began the gradual replacement of its fleet in 2023 and has already reduced vehicle emissions by 14%.

Sunrise's overall strategy also includes actions such as installing charging stations at the workplace and at home, as well as raising awareness among staff about energy saving. Sunrise was recently ISO 14001 certified for its environmental management system and awarded a platinum medal by EcoVadis for its sustainability performance.
