Swiss Re Announces Executive Committee Changes
Swiss Re revealed changes to its Group Executive Committee, effective from 1 July 2024. Ivan Gonzalez, currently CEO Reinsurance China, will assume the role of CEO Corporate Solutions, taking over from Andreas Berger. Gonzalez brings extensive experience from various leadership roles within the company, spanning over two decades, and will relocate to Zurich from Beijing.
Furthermore, Moses Ojeisekhoba, CEO Global Clients and Solutions, will depart on 31 August 2024 to explore opportunities beyond Swiss Re. Ojeisekhoba's tenure was marked by substantial contributions to Swiss Re's growth, particularly within the Asian markets and Reinsurance businesses.
These strategic shifts in leadership align with Swiss Re's ongoing efforts to strengthen its position and adapt to evolving market dynamics. Christian Mumenthaler, Swiss Re's CEO, expressed confidence in Gonzalez's capabilities and gratitude towards Ojeisekhoba's commitment to the company.
