Technotrans Supplies Temperature Control Technology for Global Battery Production

technotrans SE has secured a mid-single-digit million-euro order to supply temperature control technology for foaming processes in battery production. The project will run until the end of 2025, and technotrans is the sole supplier.

The German car manufacturer will use technotrans' energy-efficient compact temperature control units at several locations worldwide. These units are crucial for mould temperature control in foam casting, a process that joins battery cells. Factors that led to technotrans winning the contract include their engineering expertise, high energy efficiency, quick development response times, and a global service network.

By the end of 2025, a high three-digit number of these systems will be delivered. technotrans’ broad service network and extensive engineering capabilities were particularly convincing to the client.

The compact temperature control units are tailored to deliver precise temperature management, crucial for the foaming process, and include sustainable water treatment solutions to handle varying water qualities at different locations.
