Temporary suspension of trading in Eagle Football Group shares
On September 20, 2024, Eagle Football Group announced in a press release that it would temporarily suspend trading in its securities. This decision follows statements made by John Textor on September 11, 2024. John Textor discussed an offer plan for the remaining outstanding shares, including a substantial premium to the current price, possibly in excess of €3 per share, and a possibility of exchange for shares listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Eagle Football Group, however, clarified that no discussions were underway between John Textor, Eagle Football Holding and Eagle Football Group regarding this possible offer. The suspension, which has been in place since September 12, will end on September 23, 2024.
