The LDLC Group finalizes the acquisition of Rue du Commerce

On July 10, 2024, the LDLC Group finalized the acquisition of the business of the company Rue du Commerce. All conditions precedent, including the agreement of the competition authority, have been met.

Rue du Commerce, a pioneering player in French e-commerce, specializes in the online sale of IT and high-tech products. At the end of June 2024, it generated a business volume of €45 million and a turnover of €30 million, with around forty employees.

This acquisition aligns with LDLC's strategy to strengthen its BtoC positioning. It aims to expand the customer base, increase general public awareness and optimize profitability thanks to a fixed cost model. The price is set at €6 million, financed by bank debt.
