The New ARI 1710 Electric Van: A Space Miracle with Decent Range

ARI Motors, previously known for small electric vehicles, is expanding its model range with the ARI 1710, an electric panel van. The van offers a 12 m³ loading volume and a payload of up to 1.7 tons. It aims to cater to the logistics sector, especially for last-mile deliveries, with a potential market of 250,000 vehicles per year in Germany alone.

The ARI 1710 features a modern design suitable for urban delivery traffic. It provides easy loading through side sliding doors and swinging rear doors, available in both 3.5-ton and 4.25-ton versions. Propelled by a powerful electric motor with 115 kW output, it achieves a top speed of 100 km/h and ensures dynamic driving even under heavy loads.

The van includes advanced battery technology from CATL, offering two battery options of 77 or 101 kWh, yielding ranges of up to 279 or 415 kilometers per charge respectively. The vehicle supports rapid charging, with 80% charge achievable in 45 minutes and a full charge in 8 hours on conventional wallboxes, making it ideal for overnight charging cycles.

Standard features of the ARI 1710 include cruise control, airbags, ABS, and digital displays with a rear-view camera. Optional equipment, such as a vehicle-to-load function, 270-degree doors, and a towbar, enhance its versatility. The low loading sill and wide doors simplify loading and unloading, even with a forklift.

With zero emissions and lower operating costs compared to conventional vans, the ARI 1710 is a sustainable and economical option for urban and regional transport. It is covered by an 8-year or 400,000-kilometer battery warranty, and a 4-year or 60,000-kilometer vehicle warranty.
