The Nordex Group to Supply 41 Turbines for 148 MW Wind Farm in Poland
The Nordex Group has secured an order to supply and install 41 N117/3600 turbines for the Miejska Górka wind farm in Poland. Scheduled to begin at the end of 2025, the project will deliver a total of 147.6 MW and includes a Premium Service contract for 30 years.
The wind farm, located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, will employ tubular steel towers with hub heights of 134 meters. It is expected to commence operations at the start of 2027. The developer, VSB, will handle infrastructure work and an additional 12 turbines, bringing the total capacity to 190.8 MW.
VSB has sold the project to Tauron Zielona Energia S.A., Poland's second-largest energy company. The project underlines Nordex's growing market footprint in Poland, as highlighted by Patxi Landa, CSO of the Nordex Group.
