The Platform Group AG: Acquisition of the OEGE GROUP
The Platform Group AG (ISIN DE000A200QEFA1, “TPG”), a leading software company, will become the majority shareholder of OEGE GROUP as of June 2024. Based in Lünen, OEGE GROUP serves B2B customers in eCommerce. The company operates its own logistics center and sells branded goods via its B2B stores and platform solutions.
Özcan Gölyeri, Managing Director of OEGE GROUP, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing plans to expand B2B online portals and international reach. TPG's CEO, Dr. Dominik Benner, highlighted that their software solutions will add value and strengthen their B2B focus.
The transaction is set to close in August 2024, with terms undisclosed. OEGE GROUP will be integrated into TPG's Freight Goods segment, utilizing TPG's software from fall 2024.
