The Vanguard Group, Inc. has disclosed its positions in the International Paper Company under Rule 8.3 of the Takeover Code. The disclosure reflects Vanguard's requisite interests in relevant securities representing 1% or more.
As of September 10, 2024, Vanguard holds 11.77% of International Paper Company's common stock, equivalent to 40,894,560 shares. The transactions include a purchase of 2,538 shares at $47.06 per unit and sales of 2,172 and 306 shares at $47.06 and $47.18 per unit, respectively.
Vanguard is also making disclosures regarding Smith (DS) plc in addition to International Paper Company. No indemnity agreements or other formal arrangements are reported in connection with these positions.
