Thermador Groupe Acquires Compteur-energie.com

On July 4, 2024, Thermador Groupe signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Compteur-energie.com, OTMetric, and MyMeterInfo. The acquisition, valued at €3.485 million, will be fully paid in cash from group equity. The transaction is expected to close on July 31, 2024.

An additional earn-out of €200,000 will be disbursed by April 30, 2029, contingent on achieving an average EBIT of €517,000 or more. The acquired companies specialize in remote reader systems and various types of energy meters, generating a total turnover of €2.4 million and a net pre-tax profit of €369,000.

These companies, employing eight people, are managed by Thierry Dupont and Olivier Mogenot, who will continue in their roles. The on-line platform compteur-energie.com will remain the principal sales channel. The acquisition will strengthen Thermador Groupe's metering market position and enhance its connected equipment offerings.
