Tocvan Ventures Corp Announces Significant Discovery and Expansion at Pilar Gold-Silver Project

Tocvan Ventures Corp has reported a major expansion in the mineralized footprint of its Greater Pilar gold-silver project located in Sonora, Mexico. The recent fieldwork, involving surface rock sampling and geological mapping, has revealed high values of gold and silver across newly explored areas around the Pilar Main Zone.

The company highlighted significant gold values up to 7.3 grams per ton (g/t) and silver values reaching up to 389 g/t. The explored area, which had no previous exploration, measured approximately 1,500 meters by 800 meters and is situated to the east of the Pilar Main Zone. This new zone is directly related to ongoing placer gold mining operations in nearby areas.

An area measuring 700 meters by 600 meters has been identified as the source of the placer gold. This discovery confirms the potential for larger scale mineralization adjacent to existing workings. Tocvan has established full access to these areas through new roads, allowing further exploration and sampling activities.

The company’s CEO, Brodie Sutherland, expressed enthusiasm about the discovery, indicating that it marks a notable expansion of the mineralized system at Pilar. The discovery not only enhances the project's resource potential but also opens new avenues for further exploration and eventually, drilling activities.

Tocvan Ventures is currently preparing to initiate a drilling program to further investigate the extents of mineralization in both the newly discovered zones and the extensions from the Main Zone. Initial drilling results are expected by early May 2024.
