Topgolf Launches Virtual Experience on Fortnite
Frisco, TX - Zoned, a marketing agency and subsidiary of GameSquare Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:GAME), announced the launch of Topgolf Universe on Fortnite's UEFN platform. This new virtual entertainment experience merges the real-world thrill of Topgolf with the expansive digital environment of Fortnite. Players can now engage in a range of mini-games including Swing Showdown, Topgolf Speedway, and the Golf Ball Ramp Jump Challenge.
Topgolf's Chief Brand Officer, Geoff Cottrill, expressed excitement about this collaboration, stating that it allows more people to experience the brand's unique fun in a virtual setting. The map features iconic Topgolf locations such as Santa Monica, Bangkok, Dubai, and Las Vegas.
To celebrate the launch, professional Fortnite players Bugha and Clix will livestream the new map to their 13.3 million Twitch followers. They, along with other content creators, will promote the experience on social media, offering exclusive promotions for U.S. Topgolf locations.
This initiative follows a series of partnerships secured by Zoned, aimed at generating over $3 million in projected revenue for GameSquare. Carlos Tovar, President of Zoned, highlights the project as an example of how immersive branded content can benefit both brands and gamers.
