Touchstone Exploration Comments on Lease Operators Offer for Trinity
Touchstone Exploration Inc. has acknowledged the announcement by Lease Operators Limited and Trinity regarding an offer for Trinity Exploration & Production Plc. Touchstone urges Trinity Shareholders to refrain from taking any action in response to this development.
Touchstone received irrevocable undertakings from shareholders of Trinity, representing approximately 38.9% of Trinity's share capital, to support its own offer. These undertakings remain binding and oblige shareholders to vote against Lease Operators' scheme.
Additionally, Touchstone has received a letter of intent from Andrew Byles supporting its offer, bringing the total shares committed to 41.45% of Trinity's share capital.
