Transition at the head of BIC: Departure of Gonzalve Bich

BIC announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Gonzalve Bich, will step down by September 30, 2025. The Board of Directors and Gonzalve Bich have initiated a succession process to designate a new leader. Gonzalve Bich will continue to lead the company until a successor is named, and will then remain as Senior Advisor.

Gonzalve Bich's strategy has helped grow BIC's revenue to over €2 billion. He notably launched the Horizon Strategic Plan in 2020, aimed at boosting BIC's innovation and expansion. The recent acquisition of Tangle Teezer is part of this diversification approach.

Sustainability remained a priority under his leadership, including through the “Writing The Future, Together” program, committed to improving learning conditions for 250 million children and reducing the use of virgin plastics by 2030.
