Travel and family, life priorities of the Swiss according to Baloise

On 27 November 2024, Baloise Holding AG published the results of a study conducted with YouGov on the life goals of the Swiss. According to the survey, conducted among 1,277 people, travel and family dominate, cited by 31% and 29% of respondents respectively. The Swiss population has a moderate propensity for risk, especially in personal development and leisure time, but remains cautious in financial and family matters.

Family and friends are the main inspirations for 68% of respondents. However, although a stable financial situation is essential, few rely on external services to achieve their goals. The Swiss express pride in their family and health, but rarely seek help from banks and insurance companies. Baloise wants to fill this gap with integrated insurance and banking service solutions.
