Verallia Revises 2024 EBITDA Forecast Amid Slower Recovery
Paris, July 8, 2024 - Verallia announced a revision of its 2024 adjusted EBITDA forecast, now expected to be around the same level as in 2022, approximately €866 million. The company had initially anticipated stronger growth, forecasting EBITDA at around €1 billion.
The recovery in demand confirmed in the second quarter across most of Verallia’s markets has been slower than anticipated. The company expects this trend to persist in the second half of 2024.
Despite this, Verallia’s Performance Action Plan remains on track, focusing on capacity adaptation, inventory control, and cost reduction. Further details will be provided during the first half results presentation on July 25.
