Villeroy & Boch Surpasses €1 Billion in Revenue for First Time

Villeroy & Boch AG reported consolidated revenue of €1,007.8 million for the first nine months of 2024, marking the first time the company has exceeded €1 billion. This significant achievement comes with an increase of €357.2 million or 54.9% from the previous year, largely attributed to the acquisition of Ideal Standard, which contributed €364.6 million in revenue.

The company's operating EBIT rose by 11.6% year-on-year to €64.5 million. However, the net profit decreased significantly to €5.6 million from €37.7 million the previous year, impacted by one-off acquisition-related effects and financing costs.

The Bathroom & Wellness Division saw a revenue increase of 83.5% to €799.5 million, while the Dining & Lifestyle Division experienced a 2.9% decline due to weak consumer demand. Villeroy & Boch foresees continued revenue growth due to acquisitions for the remainder of 2024.
