VINCI renews road maintenance and improvement contract in Milton Keynes in the UK
The city of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire has awarded a new contract to Ringway, a VINCI Construction subsidiary. The contract focuses on maintaining and improving the city's road infrastructure.
This contract, set to begin in September 2024, will last for eight years with an option for two additional two-year extensions. The total value of the contract is around €230 million (£200 million).
The agreement includes routine and seasonal road maintenance, safety inspections, emergency response, and various road improvements, costing approximately €29 million (£25 million) annually.
Ringway has been handling the maintenance of Milton Keynes' 1,100 km of carriageways and 1,800 km of footways since 2014. The company’s contracts cover over 43,000 km of roads and 600,000 road equipment assets across the UK.
