Viscom Completes Change of Legal Form to a European Company (SE)
Hanover, 6 June 2024 – Viscom, the European market leader in automated optical inspection systems for the electronics industry, has finalized its transformation from a German legal form to a European Company (Societas Europaea - SE). The company will now operate under the name Viscom SE, reflecting its European origins and international identity.
Dr. Martin Heuser, Executive Board member and company founder, stated that the SE is a modern, supranational legal form that suits Viscom's European and international orientation. The conversion aligns with the company's modern and globally active profile and diverse employee structure.
An SE works council will enable employees across Europe to partake in cross-border co-determination, fostering unity among the workforce. This new structure does not impact shareholders, customers, business partners, or existing contracts. The company's headquarters will remain in Hanover. The Supervisory and Executive Boards' proven structure and composition will also stay unchanged.
