Volatus Aerospace Signs Sales Agreement with Xer Technologies for North American Distribution
Volatus Aerospace Corp. (TSXV:VOL)(OTCQB:VLTTF) has entered into a sales agency agreement with Xer Technologies to distribute their heavy-duty hybrid electric engine drones in North America. The contract was signed on June 12, 2024.
The Xer X8 UAV is tailored for challenging applications such as asset inspections, search and rescue operations, wildfire management, and LiDAR and photogrammetry mapping. It can fly for 2.5 hours with a 3 kg payload even under adverse weather conditions.
Rob Walker, COO of Volatus Aerospace, emphasized the necessity of drones with longer mission capabilities for their clients in the oil and gas, energy, and rail sectors. Gökmen Çetin of Xer Technologies highlighted Volatus' strong market presence and expertise in bringing new products to market.
Volatus plans to begin product demonstrations in late July and will showcase the Xer X8 UAV at APSCON in Houston from July 31 to August 2.
