Vossloh Expands Service Operations in France Through Acquisition
Werdohl, July 19, 2024. Vossloh has expanded its service business in France by acquiring France Aiguillages Services (FAS), a company specializing in switches and signaling systems.
FAS, based in Bertrichamps, eastern France, serves primarily the state-owned railway company SNCF. It holds extensive approvals for technical inspections and maintenance within the SNCF network. The acquisition includes LUNEFCF, a licensed training center for maintenance of SNCF infrastructure.
Jan Furnivall, COO of Vossloh, stated that this acquisition will enhance their service offerings, especially for SNCF. The integration aims to strengthen Vossloh’s position as a comprehensive rail track solution provider and support new business models.
Christophe Calley, founder of FAS, will stay in a management role, emphasizing the complementary strengths of both companies to offer comprehensive services to customers.
